Tom Jamrog has been playing his Sonart accordion since he took lessons in the 4th grade at Anthony Imbriglio's accordion studio in Fall River, MA, when his mother bought him the accordion on time payments. He is teaching himself Polish and hopes to someday visit the old country. Tom also plays mandolin in the Rumi poetry recitation group, A Turning Night of Stars. He says he is retired, but it doesn't look that way.

Hank Lunn, lead singer and drummer, started playing music in '44 up in "The County." He has banged on his drums at Grange hall dances, bar mitzvahs, potato harvest flings, shivarees, barn raisings and the dance hall circuit from Millinocket to Madawaska. He's been playing Dixieland, jazz, and polka tunes since he moved to the Camden in the '60s. He currently plays with A Turning Night of Stars and All That Jazz in addition to King Pirogi.

Dave Kirkham started out playing folk music in high school in the '50s, playing mostly guitar. He evolved into bluegrass in the '60s, and played in a couple of Vinalhaven string bands in the '70s and '80s. "D" began with an electric bass in a blues band around 1990 and picked up a double bass in '97. D also plays with A Turning Night of Stars and explores jazz on the side.

Jake Thomas is a rare breed, a classically trained trumpet-playing accountant. He's a come-back player who picked his trumpet up again fifteen years ago while living in Baltimore, MD. Jake studied classical trumpet performance at the Peabody Conservatory and has played with many concert bands and quintets. He's involved with music and arts organizations and currently is comptroller at Northern Kingdom Music in Rockport.
